As part of the Sustaining Rural Communities Conference, NIRRA is presenting a series of themed sessions looking at policy and research. The Rural Communities Conference  will be held between on 18-19 April 2012, at Narrabri in rural NSW.

The conference will provide networking opportunities with a broad range of stakeholder groups including community representatives, industry groups, academics and local government and policy makers.
 

The sessions being run by NIRRA will provide a forum to hear community perspectives on regional development, regional futures and their priorities for rural researchIdentify opportunities for collaboration on future research initiatives.

The conference is free to attend, with delgates covering their own accomodation, travel and catering costs.
